You have been watching

Over us for years

 Though we have our doubts

Of what it’s all about

You have guided us in so many ways

Dear lord please don’t let me down

Keep me safe and sound

Show me the right pathway to follow

 Worldly they do pray 

In their own kind of way

But it is you their really praying for

 Even though wars they do fight

Thinking they are right

I know you would want to disagree

Cause by end of war

They’ll learn that you are right

And see the light becoming so free
