Paul Finnerty Guitar & Band leader           

Paul is better known as a banjo player, but is equally talented with the guitar.  He has played with some of Australia's best traditional jazz bands including: Roger Bells Pagan Pipers, the Yarra Yarra Jazz Band, Tom Bakers Chicago Seven and Geoff Bull's Olympia Jazz Band.  Paul has toured with the Hotter Than Six Band as well as Tom Baker on many occasions.

 Over the last 6 years Paul has been writing & recording tunes with his fellow musicians in the hope that one day a tune will be a winner, the tunes Paul writes are all done in a retro style from the 60-70's, with them all being done in the Rock, Latin, Surfy, Reggae and Blues Styles.

                                                                 (musicians are the eternal optimists).

 

Pat Powell Vocals

Pat has been the supporting voice behind some of Australia's most successful artists for many years.  His credits include : Kylie Minogue, James Freud, Jenny Morris, Max Q, and Margaret Urlich just to name a few. 

 

 

Stan Valacos Bass & sound engineer

Stan has played with a variety of well known jazz bands around Australia : including the Brad Child Big Band, George Washingmachine, Cathy Harley, Ian Date and David Blenkhorn.

 

            Gary Walford Keyboard

 Gary plays the old solid style of piano and has played with Geoff Bull's band for most of his life.

  Gary has been running the band at the Unity Hall hotel for the last 40 years.

 

    Laurie Bennett Drums

 Laurie is a professional sort after drummer who plays any style.

  Laurie has worked with every band in Sydney and is a legend.
