The Buddy Bolden Revival Band was formed by Dan Hardie as an experiment to hear what it would have sounded like to use original charts and instrumentation from the Bolden era.  The musicians chosen for this band are all well known, having been on the jazz scene for years and well adept at the traditional form of jazz.         The line up consists of :- Geoff Bull - Cornet,  Paul Furniss - Clarinet,  John Bates - Valve Trombone,        Daniel Weltlinger - Violin,  Anthony Howe - Drums,  Stan Valacos - Bass,  Paul Finnerty - Guitar.                      It is well worth hearing a performance of this band as there is not many bands doing this sort of thing in the world.  It is an ideal band for jazz festivals as it can also play as a regular New Orleans style band.
